  • 1/2 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil
  • 150 g pork loin chops or pork steaks

Ingredients for Salad

  • 1/2 cup fennel bulb julienned
  • 1/2 orange sliced
  • 1 cup rocket leaves
  • 1 tablespoon sunflower seeds

Ingredients for Dressing

  • 1/2 teaspoon seeded mustard
  • 1/2 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil
  • salt & pepper to taste


  • Heat the olive oil in a griddle and add the pork chop. Cook for 5-7 minutes on each side, until cooked through.
  • In the meantime, assemble the salad by combining the fennel, orange, rocket and sunflower seeds.
  • Make the dressing by mixing the mustard, olive oil and salt and pepper in a small bowl.
  • Drizzle the dressing over the salad.
  • Once cooked, serve the pork chop alongside the salad.
